 Turkmenistan and Saudi Arabia signed an agreement on Hajj in 2024

The International Conference and Exhibition on Hajj and Umrah Services is being held these days, January 8-11, in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The main purpose of this event is to create more comfortable conditions for pilgrims and enrich their religious and cultural experience.

The conference is attended by delegations from more than 80 countries, including Turkmenistan, represented by a delegation led by Mufti Yalkap Hojaguliyev.

Within the framework of the event, a bilateral agreement was signed between the Office of the Mufti of Turkmenistan and the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on the Hajj in 2024, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan reported.

Earlier it was reported that Turkmen Airlines plans to open Ashgabat – Jeddah flights from February 16, 2024.
