Samsung has confirmed that it is developing a tri-folding smartphone, which will fold in three sections.

This information was revealed at the Galaxy Unpacked event held on January 22nd, where company representatives showcased a slide with a roadmap of new devices.

The tri-folding smartphone, also referred to as a multi-folding device, will feature a display with a diagonal of up to 10 inches when unfolded, placing it in the tablet category. This device will complement the existing Galaxy Z Fold and Galaxy Z Flip models.

Samsung is expected to unveil this innovative smartphone by the end of 2025. In addition to the tri-folding smartphone, Samsung also announced the development of a virtual and augmented reality headset, as well as smart glasses, highlighting its commitment to expanding its range of wearable devices.
