Dragon Oil (Turkmenistan), a wholly owned subsidiary of the Dubai-based Dragon Oil is a trendsetter, combining business with social responsibility.

The company has invested about $ 6 billion in the development of the Jeytun and Jigalibeg located on the Caspian shelf. More than $ 150 million dollars are being invested this year in production. One more offshore stationary platform was installed, from which the first well was drilled and an industrial oil inflow was obtained.

It is planned to drill 18 wells on the shelf this year, six of which have already been completed. The company uses a large number of wells not only new but also old, on which it regularly carries out the work to intensify the flow of oil. In the year of 2017 the level of its daily average production from the deposits Jeytun and Dzhigalybeg grows from 7,000 barrels per day in 2000 to 85,000 barrels.

The development of the coastal oil and gas infrastructure is proceeding well, the construction of a new terminal has been completed in the complex preparation and pumping station of oil. The new tank farm will increase the total capacity of oil storage to about up to 1.8 million barrels (200 thousand tons). Only by building additional storage facilities and pipelines on the Aladzha oil pier simultaneous loading of two tankers was possible.

At the company's facilities the residents of Turkmenistan accounts for 93 percent, and there are about 2000 foreigners from dozens of countries. "Dragon Oil" invests in the education and development of qualifications of local personnel, opening up new horizons for specialists and giving them the opportunity to gain modern knowledge and experience in professional sectors. The scholarship program of the company for the training graduates of schools of the city of Khazar in Tomsk Polytechnic University is operating for several years now. The oil company supports the implementations of socially notional projects in the city of Khazar. The desalination plant and the Hospital with modern medical equipment were built in the city several years ago, and the drinking water station was built last year. "Dragon Oil" took as patron of the school and kindergarten, helping them to solve the issues of arrangement.

Multimedia boards and computer technology, accessories for an art school, the building of the House of Children and Youth Creativity and a playground was purchased for the city's educational institutions with the help of company. An electric musical instruments, various techniques, theatrical costumes were purchased for the local creative teams. The company purchased the mats for the gymnastic school of the city of Turkmenbashi, the sports form for the participants of the competitions, the judiciary boards, as well as prizes for the winners of the open championship for the Dragon Oil Cup in volleyball, basketball, boxing and football held annually with the Khazar city sports committee. Means for purchasing uniforms and equipment for children and youth sports teams is regularly allocated not only in the cities of Khazar, but also the in national teams of the country.

"Dragon Oil" provides sponsorship to the national sports teams for participation in international competitions in judo, gymnastics, water polo, chess, basketball center of Turkmenistan. The company supports the National Paralympic Committee and the other organizations that carries out an honorable mission – in adaptation, rehabilitation and attraction of people with disabilities to physical education and sports.
