The Turkmen-Russian business forum will coincide with the IPC meeting

It will take place on the sidelines of the next meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation of Turkmenistan and the Russian Federation. The head of the Russian Foreign Ministry said this at a meeting with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov on Monday.
“We highly value our strategic partnership. The Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation is working dynamically, and preparations are underway for its next meeting. A business forum will be dedicated to it. This is also useful,” Lavrov’s opening remarks at the meeting, published on the website of the Russian diplomatic service says.
The 12th meeting of the Intergovernmental Turkmen-Russian Commission on Economic Cooperation was held in Moscow in December 2022, chaired by Deputy Prime Ministers Rashid Meredov and Alexey Overchuk.
And in January 2023, a Turkmen-Russian business forum was held in Ashgabat, in which a large delegation of the Russian Federation headed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin arrived to participate.
On December 5, a meeting of the foreign ministers of the Caspian states: Azerbaijan, Iran, Kazakhstan, Russia and Turkmenistan is planned in Moscow under the chairmanship of Lavrov.
