French traveler and writer Cedric Gras met with Turkmen students in Ashgabat

On October 3 and 4, the guest held discussions with students of the French Language Faculty of the D. Azadi Turkmen National Institute of World Languages and the Magtymguly Turkmen State University.
The researcher spoke about his writing activity and paid attention to the peculiarities of the French-speaking writing style. The audience listened with interest to his stories about travel notes made during his expeditions to Antarctica and the Alps.
At TSU named after Magtymguly, linguists were joined by students of the Faculty of Geography. They were more interested in the traveler's expeditions and his observations concerning global warming.
Cedric Gras is a writer, scientist, winner of the Albert Londres Prize and a member of the Society of French Researchers. He thanked the audience for their interest in his work, for the warm welcome and wished the students success in their studies.
The director of the French Institute, Romain Gouvernay, informed the youth that now the books of the French writer are available in the library of the French Institute, where they will be able to get acquainted with the works of Sederic Gras.
The visit of the famous European traveler to Turkmenistan will end at the end of the week. The day before, on October 6, he will hold his last meeting with his fans in the media library of the French Center in Ashgabat at 18:00.
The guest's stay in Turkmenistan was organized by the French Institute.
