Oriented on making people closer

The pavilion of Turkmenistan at the International Tourism Exhibition Tourism Expo Japan 2023 will be located in the Central Asia sector, which is traditionally distributed among the five countries of the region. The layout of the Turkmen stand was demonstrated on Wednesday during a video broadcast by a representative of the Department for Central Asia and the Caucasus Region of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) Okuda Hisakatsu.

Tourism Expo Japan is the world's largest tourism exhibition for representatives of the tourism industry and travel enthusiasts. This year, the review will be held in Osaka from October 26 to 29. The organizers of the annual forum are the Japanese Travel and Tourism Association, the Japanese Association of Travel Agents and the Japanese National Tourism Organization.

The participants of the online meeting held at the Ministry of Culture of Turkmenistan were representatives of the Tourism Department of the Ministry of Culture of the country, the Turkmen diplomatic mission in Japan and the heads of the travel companies "Aziiyanin Merjeni", "Ashgabat Syyahat", "Ayan", "Durdyniyaz" and "Dag Syyahat". The latter travel agency, by the way, will make a presentation at a special session for tour operators, which will be held as part of the Japanese exhibition.

Demonstrations of the cultural heritage of the participating countries will also be held on the fields of the tourist show. Musical groups will introduce the Turkmen national traditions to the visitors of the exposition in Osaka. Displays of Turkmen outfits, costumes, and jewelry are also planned.

These and other specific issues related to the participation of the Turkmen delegation in Tourism Expo Japan 2023 were discussed by the participants of the Turkmen-Japanese meeting.
