The full version of the Voluntary National Review of Turkmenistan on the Implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals has been published on the official website of the UN High-level Forum on Sustainable Development.

The summary of the report notes that it is unique due to the presence of additional six goals in it, which reflect the key strategic directions of Turkmenistan's development.

The document reflects Turkmenistan's human-centered approach to public administration. Evidence of this is the fact that about 75% of the state budget of the country is directed to the development of the social sphere. Targeted assistance and services for socially vulnerable segments of the population are also being introduced at the national level.

The report includes sections on the introduction of "green" technologies in Turkmenistan and measures to combat climate change, the country's systematic approach to the implementation of the SDGs, youth policy and other relevant topics.
