An enterprise located in the Jizzakh region of Uzbekistan will assemble the machines of the Chinese manufacturer. The Chinese company Great Wall Motor and the Uzbek company ADM Jizzakh have signed a cooperation agreement, under which the production of Haval brand cars will begin in the Central Asian country, Ferghana reports.

The first cars of the Haval brand of Uzbek production will begin this autumn. In the future, the parties intend to increase the capacity of the enterprise to 100,000 vehicles per year. At the first stage, the Uzbek plant will assemble the following models: Jolion, M6, H6, Dargo.

In the future, it is planned to expand the model range through the production of electric vehicles and vehicles equipped with hybrid engines.

In May of this year, as part of the China-Central Asia Summit, China and Uzbekistan signed two agreements in the automotive industry. Thus, the production of Exeed cars will be launched in the Central Asian Republic, as well as electric and hybrid cars together with BYD Auto Industry.
