Oriented on making people closer

On April 21, 2023, the Lanting Forum on "Chinese Modernization and Peace" was held at the Grand Halls in Shanghai. Chinese President Xi Jinping sent a congratulatory message to the forum. Member of the State Council, Chinese Foreign Minister Qin Gang attended the opening ceremony. The forum was attended by current and former high-ranking officials from almost 80 countries, authoritative experts and scientists, business leaders, foreign diplomatic envoys and representatives of international organizations in China, as well as representatives of international media. As the Chinese Ambassador to Turkmenistan, I would like to introduce my Turkmen friends to Chinese modernization.

The implementation of modernization is the relentless aspiration of the Chinese people since the beginning of the new history period, as well as the common aspiration of all peoples of the world. On the way to modernization, the country must follow certain general patterns. More importantly, it should proceed from its own realities and have its own specifics. After a long and difficult search, the Chinese Communist Party, rallying and leading the multinational people of the country, has found a path of development that corresponds to Chinese realities. At present, the construction of a strong state and the cause of the revival of the Chinese nation through the implementation of Chinese modernization are advancing in all directions.

Keyword 1: A choice corresponding to national realities

The Chinese model of modernization has a deep historical, practical and theoretical logic. The Chinese model of modernization is an inevitable choice of the century-old path of China's development, an inevitable requirement for the comprehensive promotion of the great revival of the Chinese nation, an inevitable result of the scientific laws of human development. Modernization is a common cause of all mankind, which does not have a fixed model, is not a question with a single answer. Any country can realize its dream of modernization if its modernization path meets national conditions and contributes to the development of the people.

Keyword 2: A project for the benefit of the whole world

As the world's largest developing country, China always cares about the Celestial Empire and, by implementing its own development, brings more positive energy to the world and more new opportunities for global development. Modernization with a huge population will certainly give an even more powerful impetus to the recovery of the world economy; modernization with the general prosperity of all the people will certainly open a wider path to the joint development of all countries and spark the confidence of all countries in the implementation of modernization; modernization with the harmonious development of material and spiritual culture will certainly open up better prospects for the progress of human society; modernization with a harmonious symbiosis of man and nature will certainly provide more feasible options for building a clean and beautiful world; modernization with peaceful development will certainly bring more certainty and stability throughout the world. The facts show that China's movement towards modernization contributes to strengthening world peace and strengthening the forces of justice.

Keyword 3: The path to mutually beneficial cooperation

China will always unwaveringly follow the path of peaceful development, steadily contribute to the creation of a new type of international relations and a community of the common destiny of mankind. China will even more firmly defend the right of all countries to development, respect the path of modernization independently chosen by the peoples of all countries, defend the right direction of globalization, oppose the "erection of walls and barriers", "disconnection and breaking of chains", against unilateral sanctions and maximum pressure, so that economic globalization and modernization of all countries move synchronously and they complemented each other. China's modernization has been achieved through openness and will undoubtedly depend on openness in the future.

The copyright for the Chinese modernization model belongs to China, and the opportunities belong to the whole world. China is ready to work together with all parties to advance the cause of modernization, which has various distinctive features, and create a better future for the whole world.
