The victory of the Turkmen violinist at the International Music Competition in London

Jemal Agajanova, a 4th-year student of the Maya Kuliyyeva Turkmen National Conservatory, took the first place and became a laureate of the International Competition of Violinists, held in an online format in London. The prestigious music competition brought together dozens of musicians from around the world in the British capital. The winners will be honored in the summer in Paris at the annual award ceremony of the "Best of the Best" in the field of education, science, culture and art.

A student of the TNÇ String Instruments Department presented one of the best and most complex works of the great Russian composer Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky in the competition program – a Violin Concerto in D Major. The author dedicated the composition to the talented violinist Leopold Auer, and for the first time the composition was performed in Vienna in 1881 by the virtuoso musician Adolf Brodsky.

The Turkmen violinist presented to the jury a slow lyrical Second movement – Canzonetta andante – in G minor and a virtuoso Third movement – Finale. But Allergo vivacissimo – D major allows you to show the musician the performing skill of playing the violin, taking into account all the technical nuances.

Jemal Agajanova studies in the class of TNC teacher Nazik Saryyeva, winner of the Altyn Asyr Prize of the President of Turkmenistan, and concertmaster Stella Faramazova, winner and diploma holder of international competitions. Persistent studies with experienced mentors have yielded their "fruits" - the student is the winner of many local and international music competitions.

And the young violinist won her first victory in 2019 at the State Competition among performers of secondary specialized educational institutions. Further-more: in 2020 she took the third place at the International Competition of Musicians of Islamic States in Baku, in 2021 she participated in several international competitions at once, and for her performance at the music competition in Nice (France) she received the II prize.

Her prize-winning list also includes awards from the International Kazakhstan Competition and the Russian music Competition held in Kazan.

The highest podium won by Jemal at such a prestigious competition in London is not only the personal success of the Turkmen performer, but also the achievement of the entire national violin school of Turkmenistan.
