IIR MFA of Turkmenistan announced a competition for the World Environmental Protection Day
18.04.2023 | 14:10 |The Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan announces a competition among students of grades 10-11 on the occasion of World Environmental Protection Day, which is celebrated on June 5, according to the university's website.
The competition, which will be held in all regions of the country and in the capital, will be held on issues compiled by the IIR MFA on the basis of secondary school textbooks on ecology, as well as Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov's book "Turkmenistan on the way to achieving Sustainable Development Goals".
Participants will have to independently answer 100 questions in 100 minutes, which are compiled in the form of a test.
To participate, students need to register on the website www.iirmfa.edu.tm until May 12, 2023. The contest itself will take place on May 17 at 10:00. It will start simultaneously in all regions of the country. To ensure an impartial competition, participants will be monitored through a video camera with Internet access.
The three winners who scored the highest number of points will be awarded the corresponding diplomas and commemorative prizes from the IIR of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the UN Mission in Turkmenistan.

— Lebap region — Turkmen State Pedagogical Institute named after S.Seidi;
— Mary region — State Energy Institute of Turkmenistan.
