Transport companies of Turkmenistan will study international experience in the field of logistics

About 130 members of the Turkmen Logistics Association will be able to study the international experience of providing freight forwarding services through a series of webinars organized by the Representative Office of the Royal Institute of Logistics and Transport in Central Asia (CILT Central Asia).

The training webinars, which will be held online on April 13 and 18, will also familiarize Turkmen transport companies with the implementation of IT systems in the field of cargo transportation, the Neutral Turkmenistan newspaper reports.

The event was organized by Turkmen Logistics, CILT Central Asia and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).

Leading specialized experts are involved in the work. On April 11, during the first seminar, they have already told about the peculiarities of the economy of road transport. In the upcoming sessions, it is expected that specialists will give specific recommendations on the transportation of oversized and heavy cargo and cold supply chain management.

CILT operates in 35 countries around the world to familiarize local transport companies with the skills and knowledge necessary for the development of logistics in the modern world. Seminars are scheduled for each month of the current year.
