Turkmenistan's national judo team will take part in the Grand Slam tournament, which will be held on March 24-26 in Tbilisi (Georgia).
The country will be represented by 10 athletes. The men's team included: Aybek Omirov, Hakberdy Jumayev (weight category up to 60 kg), Serdar Rahimov, Hakim Agamammedov (up to 66 kg), Parahat Nazarov (up to 72 kg).
The women 's team was formed by: Aksoltan Hojageldyeva, Kurbanay Kurbanova (up to 48 kg), Sayara Rozyeva (up to 52 kg), Massa Pardaev (up to 57 kg) and Zulhumar Dashkinova (up to 63 kg).
Turkmen judoists will perform at the championship under the guidance of coaches Gahryman Amandurdyev and Tatiana Vidyasova.
The Grand Slam tournament in Tbilisi will bring together 443 judoists (235 men and 206 women) from 63 countries.
