Iranian Mazenderan will become a tourist destination for Kazakhstanis
26.02.2023 | 22:48 |The Iranian province of Mazenderan has every chance to become a tourist destination for residents of Kazakhstan, having unique and natural resources. This was stated on Sunday by Deputy Akim of the Mangystau region of Kazakhstan Kanat Kuldzhanov following a meeting with the deputy governor of Mazenderan province, at which the parties discussed the development of bilateral relations.
Kuldzhanov called the economic and tourist infrastructures of Mazenderan province unique for the development of trade relations. The Kazakh official also noted the main role of medical tourism in this province.
According to him, the simplification of the visa regime between the two countries for the travel of Kazakh tourists to Iran is on the agenda of the country.
The Deputy Akim of the Mangystau region also expressed interest in using the capabilities of Iranian high-tech enterprises in Mazenderan.
Mazenderan province in northern Iran occupies a crescent-shaped strip of coast on the southern and southeastern shores of the Caspian Sea. Geographically, Mazenderan is divided into two districts: the coastal plain and the mountains. There are warm and cold mineral springs, as well as high waterfalls, mysterious caves, national parks and forests, nature reserves, architectural monuments – palaces, fortresses and other historical buildings.
The main tourism industry includes 145 hotels, as well as more than 12,000 private houses, 48 residential complexes built by the government, motels and more than 370,000 travel agencies and 120 coastal structures. All this is for the comfort, convenience and excellent rest of tourists.
