Russian Railways to launch a literary tourist train
13.01.2023 | 03:57 |The literary train to the historical places of Leo Tolstoy and Ivan Bunin will be launched in March for tourists by Russian Railways. The travel format is a "hotel on wheels": during the day - excursions, at night - on the road in sleeping cars and compartments. The train also includes a restaurant car," Russian Railways reports.
"The literary tourist train "Taste of the Epoch" came to love the travelers last year, so in March it will again travel along the route Moscow - Yelets - Leo Tolstoy - Lipetsk - Moscow. This time, when developing the excursion program, special attention was paid to the biography of Ivan Bunin, who spent several years in Yelets," the statement said.
The train will depart from Moscow's Paveletsky railway station on March 24 and return on March 26. Tickets for a two-day tour are sold at railway ticket offices, on the company's official website or in a mobile application.
