Turkmenistan’s national ice hockey team made a powerful debut at the Asian Games, crushing Macau with a staggering 26-0 victory. The highlight of the match was the third period, where Turkmen players netted 15 goals—setting the tournament’s best performance so far.

As Fergana.news reports, the game was entirely controlled by Turkmenistan from the very beginning. The first period ended with a 6-0 lead, followed by five more goals in the second. In the final 20 minutes, the team delivered a spectacular performance, scoring 15 times.

The standout player of the match was Baymurat Baymuradov, who recorded five goals and four assists.

In other Group B matches, where Turkmenistan competes, Hong Kong earlier defeated Macau (26-1) and India (30-0). Meanwhile, Kazakhstan secured a 6-1 win over China, and Kyrgyzstan dominated Bahrain with a 29-0 victory.
