Russian fighter Khabib Nurmagomedov to arrive in Turkmenistan

Khabib Nurmagomedov, the Russian professional mixed martial fighter and the reigning undisputed Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Lightweight Champion, plans to visit Turkmenistan and several other Asian countries.

Earlier in his interviews, Nurmagomedov mentioned that his father served in Turkmenistan and told him a lot about this country, which left many bright memories, and the fighter wants to see this sunny country personally.

The athlete, who had long been planning to travel around the world, also wants to visit Malaysia, Indonesia, Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan. He and his coach told reporters about this, answering the question what Nurmagomedov would do in case of UFC disqualification for next 9 months.

Despite any decision to be made by the Nevada State Athletic Commission regarding the mass brawl after the fight with the Irishman Conor McGregor in October, Khabib intends to keep himself in good physical form by continuing his daily training.

Nurmagomedov currently holds the longest undefeated streak in MMA, with 27 wins, and remains undefeated in professional MMA. He is the first Russian and the first Muslim to win a UFC title. In one of the most important fights for him with Conor McGregor, Khabib won a clear victory, using a rear-naked choke.
