A comprehensive transport document between Iran and Turkmenistan is being prepared
Turkmenistan and Iran have common interests in matters of transport interaction, and given that 600 wagons pass through the Serakhs and Inchebarun border crossings every day, with the available capacity of these, a further increase in traffic should be expected. This was discussed at the meeting of Director General of the Agency for Transport and Communications under the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Mammetkhan Chakiev with Minister of Roads and Urban Development of the Islamic Republic of Iran Mehrdad Bazrpash. The meeting was held on Tuesday, May 30, as part of a working visit to Tehran by the head of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
