Kurban Berdyev, the former coach of Rubin Kazan, was appointed head coach of Dynamo Makhachkala football club, which plays in the First League. This is reported on the team's page on the VKONTAKTE social network.

The president of the Makhachkala club, Haji Hajiyev, said that Kurban Berdyev signed an indefinite contract with Dynamo.

Last season, the team finished eighth in the First League. In 34 matches, and scored 46 points.

The club will play the first match of the new season on July 15 on the road against Torpedo Moscow.

"I would like Dynamo to represent Makhachkala in the Premier League. Such a task is worth it. It's a difficult task, but it's okay," Berdyev commented, noting that the team made a good impression on him.
