Samsung Electronics postponed work on its own augmented reality headset against the background of the recent presentation of Apple Vision Pro, writes 3dnews.ru with reference to Business Korea.

The company has issued a newsletter to its partners, in which it promised to review the headset development project and postpone its mass production.

Earlier, Samsung wanted to start developing the first working samples of its own augmented reality headset at the end of 2023 and start mass production in early 2024.

According to Korean media, the company wants to completely rethink the approach to the novelty, changing everything — from the previously agreed specifications and performance to the design.
