Oriented on making people closer

Members of the Council of Elders of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Care presented gifts to children on May 15 – fruit, berries and other fruit of the first harvest of this year. Gifts on behalf of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan and the President of Turkmenistan were received by patients of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Children's Health and Rehabilitation Center in the city of Arkadag and pupils of the capital's Döwletliler köşgi Palace.

This was another manifestation of the state's comprehensive care for the younger generation, including those who need special care.

The Foundation's activities cover various areas of support for children. Thus, recently it became known about the decision of the football team "Arkadag" to send its cash prize for winning the Asian Football Confederation Challenge League to the Charity Fund. The funds will be used to build a new building of the Bazar Amanov State Children's Library. The modern library will provide children with the opportunity to receive comprehensive knowledge using digital technologies.

The current event is a clear evidence of the successful activities carried out in Turkmenistan for the sake of children's well-being, TDH said in a statement.
