Tomato imports from Turkmenistan to Kyrgyzstan increased by 27% in January-March 2025. This data is reported by the National Statistical Committee of the Kyrgyz Republic.

According to the agency, in the first quarter, Kyrgyzstan imported 5 thousand tons of tomatoes from Turkmenistan, amounting to $4.4 million. This represents a 27% increase compared to the same period in 2024, when 3.9 thousand tons were imported for a sum of $2.8 million, as reported by Tazabek.
