Oriented on making people closer

A telephone conversation took place today between the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, and the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Sadyr Japarov, during which they had an engaging exchange of views on a number of important issues of bilateral cooperation, TDH reports.

The Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty noted with satisfaction the dynamic and consistent nature of the interaction between Turkmenistan and the Kyrgyz Republic. He emphasized that in recent years this process has significantly intensified, covering more and more areas and directions.

In the international arena, our countries actively cooperate on key issues of the global agenda. These include ensuring universal and regional security, achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, addressing environmental problems, including those related to water resources, as well as a number of other areas.

During the conversation, it was stated that contacts have been established on a regular basis at the governmental, diplomatic, and departmental levels.
