The Turkmenistan national volleyball team is on a winning streak at the 2024 Central Asian Volleyball Association (CAVA) championship in Tashkent.

In their third match of the tournament, the team triumphed over Tajikistan with a commanding 3-0 victory (25:14, 25:18, 25:14).

This win brings the squad’s total to 8 points out of a possible 9.

Previously, Turkmenistan began the tournament with a decisive victory against Afghanistan (3-0) and followed up with a hard-fought win over the Maldives (3-2).

Looking ahead, the upcoming match against Kyrgyzstan on October 22 will be crucial in the battle for first place, as both teams remain undefeated. The match is scheduled for 13:30 Ashgabat time and will be broadcast live on the CAVA Media YouTube channel. The championship will conclude on October 24.
