Oriented on making people closer

Turkmenistan's Investment Forum and exhibition, an international conference and exhibition on attracting high technologies and innovations to the economy of Turkmenistan have started their work in Ashgabat.

The Forum brought together representatives of government agencies, international organizations, well-known experts and industry leaders who will share their views and proposals on the development of the economy of Turkmenistan.

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov addressed the participants via video link. In his speech, he stressed the importance of this event for the further economic growth of the country and the strengthening of international cooperation.

The program of the event includes many thematic sessions, panel discussions and presentations that cover a wide range of topics, from digital transformation and innovation to sustainable development, and infrastructure projects.

During two days, the participants will discuss the prospects for the development of the energy sector of Turkmenistan, including projects in the field of renewable energy and sustainable use of natural resources; development of transport infrastructure, including the construction of new roads, railways and ports, as well as issues of improving logistics links.

The attention of the delegates will also be focused on the introduction of innovative technologies in agriculture and ensuring food security; reforming the financial sector, attracting foreign banks and improving the investment climate.
