Opening ceremony of the II International Olympiad on Informatics was held at Y.Kakayev IUOG
18.04.2024 | 12:16 |The opening ceremony of the II Open International Olympiad on Informatics OIOIUS-2024 took place at the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International University of Oil and Gas.
More than 270 students from 52 universities in 18 countries gathered to demonstrate their knowledge and skills in the field of computer science. Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Afghanistan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Belarus, Armenia, Iran, Libya, Qatar, Turkey, Germany, Romania, Georgia and China presented their best participants, creating an atmosphere of intellectual competition and friendly exchange of experience.
The opening of the Olympiad was a truly solemn event, at which welcoming words and wishes for success were heard from rector of the Y. Kakaev IUOG Bayrammyrat Atamanov. In his speech, he emphasized the importance of the Olympiad for the development of scientific and educational cooperation in the international space.
The Olympiad is not only a competition, but also an opportunity for young scientists to exchange knowledge and experience. It is important to note that the purpose of this event is not only to encourage the best participants, but also to support all students seeking professional growth and development.
The second day of the Olympiad, April 18, will be devoted to the development of complex software to solve cybersecurity problems.
The Olympiad will end on April 19 with a scientific and practical conference and an awards ceremony for the winners and runners-up.
