The campaign “Don’t waste your life” started in Belarus
08.11.2023 | 13:38 |In order to prevent fires and deaths due to careless handling of fire while smoking, a republican information and propaganda campaign “Don’t waste your life!” will be held in Belarus from November 8 to 28, BELTA reports.
The promotion will take place in two stages. From November 8 to November 17, events are planned at industrial enterprises, recycling collection points, dormitories, food truck locations, as well as in public places. Employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations will hold an interactive conversation with the participants of the action and demonstrate the video film “Victims of an Addiction”, as well as videos about the consequences of careless handling of fire when smoking.
As part of the second stage, from November 20 to 28, EMERCOM workers will work in universities, colleges, lyceums, security centers and other places with large numbers of people, where they will once again be reminded of the consequences of an addiction. Quizzes, miniature competitions, open dialogues, and themed discos will be prepared for the participants of the action, where everyone will be able to consolidate their knowledge in the field of life safety.
Intellectual quizzes will be organized on radio stations throughout the event.
In places with large numbers of people and in open areas, the propagandists of the Ministry of Emergency Situations will hold a “Safe Amusement Park” and “Show without Cigarettes”. At this time, everyone can quit smoking and exchange cigarettes for valuable prizes and gifts.
There will be a competition on the Internet for the best video on the topic “I don’t smoke in bed and I don’t advise you to,” in which everyone can take part.
