The Turkmen "white yurt" with national exhibits became the decoration of the folklore festival in Romania
11.09.2023 | 19:28 |The Turkmen pavilion, in the form of a white yurt with national exhibits, became one of the most visited at the International Turkish-Tatar Folklore Festival held these days in the Romanian city of Constanta, the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Romania reports.
The festival is traditional and demonstrates national values and artistic works of different peoples of the world. Songs and dances of Turkic peoples were performed on the stage of Constanta. This year, the Romanian cultural platform brought together representatives of 40 countries, who offered colorful fairs and other creative actions to the guests.
The Turkmen exposition captivated the guests of the festival with its originality and abundance of national values. The guests saw unique carpets and beautiful clothes decorated with handmade embroidery, handicrafts, silver jewelry – the work of skilled zergyars and jewelers and musical instruments played by folk bakhshi.
A photo gallery dedicated to the past and present of Turkmens, as well as books and works by the National Leader of the Turkmen People, Chairman of the People's Council Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, told visitors about Turkmenistan.
