 Acceptance of applications for passing the JLPT test for knowledge of the Japanese language has begun in Turkmenistan

Applications for the JLPT Japanese language proficiency test will be accepted from September 4 to 8 at the Embassy of Japan in Turkmenistan. This is reported by the Japanese diplomatic mission.

To enter universities in Japan, you must pass a special language exam. International students must provide a Norek Shiken certificate, or The Japanese Language Proficiency Test.

Nihongo Noreku Shiken is an international exam that allows you to determine the level of knowledge of the Japanese language of foreign students. Conducted since 1984 with the support of the Japan International Education Association, it remains the main and most popular exam for determining the level of Japanese proficiency. More than 600,000 students from all over the world participate in the test every year.

Upon successful passing of the exam, the student is issued a perpetual certificate of international standard, which has its own individual unique number.

Guidelines and application forms in two languages - Japanese and English, can be obtained from the website of the Japanese Embassy in Turkmenistan.

The exam is paid, the cost is differentiated depending on the level of the test:

• N1 - 200 manats
• N2 - 180 manats
• N3 - 160 manats
• N4 - 140 manats
• N5 - 120 manats

The test will take place on December 3rd. The specific time and venue will be published later on the website of the Japanese Embassy.

Applications are accepted in the morning from 09:30 to 12:45 and in the afternoon from 14:00 to 17:00. Address of the Embassy of Japan in Turkmenistan: Paytagt Shopping Center, 9th floor.
