Accelerator for Central Asian digital startups was launched: ITFC and ESCAP initiative
13.06.2025 | 00:29 |The International Islamic Trade Finance Corporation (ITFC) and the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP) announced the launch of the Central Asian Accelerator, an initiative aimed at developing digital startups and small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in the countries of the region. The program covers Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan, as well as Azerbaijan.
The project is part of a broader initiative “Strengthening Exports through Foreign Direct Investment in Central Asia”, implemented within the framework of the ITFC Trade Connect Central Asia+ (TCCA+) program. The main goal of the accelerator is to strengthen the export potential, investment attractiveness and international competitiveness of digital businesses.
The program is designed for three months and includes a face-to-face two-day Investment Readiness Bootcamp in Baku, regular online mentoring sessions, regional workshops and a sponsored business mission to Hong Kong for the JUMPSTARTER 2026 startup forum for the best participants. Participants are accompanied by experienced mentors and investment experts. Applications are open until June 25, 2025.
