Robotic arm and eco-printers: what the Turkmen youth shows at the contest of innovative ideas
13.06.2023 | 18:00 |Innovation is becoming an increasingly important and influential factor in the global economy. The current level of technology and scientific and technological progress determines the transition to an innovative economy in various countries. To successfully move along this path, it is necessary to have an effective and reliable mechanism for managing scientific potential.
The identification of talented youth and involvement in the work aimed at the development of advanced inventions became the main goal of the competition of innovative technologies organized by the Oguz han Engineering and Technology University of Turkmenistan.
The creative showcase dedicated to the Day of Science was attended by students of higher educational institutions, high school students, young specialists who are able to develop unique projects for implementation in various industries.
As representatives of the university told ORIENT, the competition started three months ago. In the first stage of the scientific review, everyone had to send the names and characteristics of their developments. The second stage included the implementation of presentations telling about the uniqueness and distinctive properties of the projects.
The organizers note that this competition has aroused great interest among the younger generation. Applications for participation were submitted by a large number of young people, which exceeded all expectations of the teaching staff of the university. Out of seven hundred proposed works, one hundred of the best developments were selected for the final part.
For the presented inventions, it is important that they are based on innovative methods and are ready for introduction into production. The competition was held in seven nominations:
— agriculture and ecology,
— biotechnology, molecular biology, genetics, healthcare,
— modern medicine and technology of production of medicines,
— nanotechnology, chemical technology, the study of new materials,
— robotics and energy,
— information and communication systems, computer technologies,
— economics,
— humanities and teaching methods.
Being in the exhibition hall of the ETUT , you immerse yourself in the technological atmosphere and witness an abundance of innovative projects that will soon be in active use in all sectors of the economy.
There is a waste-free technology for processing plastic waste, a portable electrotherapeutic device, and a toothpaste made from burdock root juice. Eco 3D printer, robotic arm, electric bike and many other projects that will compete for the Grand Prix and honorary places of the competition have found their place.
Each of the inventors has a kind of thinking, creative imagination and irrepressible curiosity. Some of the young and promising authors told ORIENT about their developments announced in the competition program.
A student of the Turkmen State Institute of Finance, Jemal Meredova, presented a mock-up of laying high-speed railway lines that will connect the city of Arkadag with other settlements of the country.
The idea of implementing this project came when, in February of this year, the national leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov paid a working visit to the city of Arkadag, where he discussed the implementation of passenger rail transportation.
Student of the Oguz han Engineering and Technology University of Turkmenistan Kerim Nazarov decided to experiment and created an F-5G glider. The young specialist says that the work on the project has turned into an interesting and fascinating process, which was carried out almost at home. The unmanned aerial vehicle is shooting and is able to carry out cargo transportation. Innovative ideas were also shared by students of Turkmen schools who presented projects in different directions.
ORIENT will acquaint readers with the results of the competition in subsequent publications.
