 BelTA: Belarus offers China to create joint ventures and develop cooperation

At the talks with Chinese President Xi Jinping, President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko suggested that China create joint ventures and develop cooperation. This is reported by BelTA.

"We are extremely interested in deepening cooperation with China on technological development, including the creation of joint ventures, the modernization of Belarusian enterprises with the introduction of modern Chinese technologies, the promotion of goods and services to the markets of third countries," Alexander Lukashenko said.

Thus, he proposed to create joint ventures in the field of machine tool construction, electric transport, production of parts for agricultural machinery, both in Belarus and in China.

"Cooperation will help to increase the competitiveness of products," the President stressed.

Noting the huge potential of bilateral projects, Lukashenko said that Belarusian manufacturers are interested in studying the experience of Chinese companies in the production of engines, transmissions, axles and other units.

The meeting between Alexander Lukashenko and Chinese President Xi Jinping took place within the framework of the Belarusian leader's state visit to China.
