Delivery of food and goods to the house, calling a taxi through the app — all this has entered our life and made it easier at times. Like private businesses, government agencies offer citizens to get a number of services online using mobile applications and websites.

Transport tickets

There are several ways to purchase transport tickets directly from home. You can buy a plane ticket on the official website of "Türkmenhowaýollary" or in the mobile application of Turkmen Airlines. For train and bus — on the website of OJSC "Turkmen Railways" and OJSC "Automotive services" respectively, as well as through the applications of these companies.

The same can be done on the e.gov.tm website — the largest portal for providing online services to the population. It presents services in the field of communications, education, paperwork, logistics, utilities, financial system, legal assistance, etc.

Utilities and telecommunications

All utility bills (from water and electricity to garbage collection) can also be paid online on the e.gov.tm website. The second option (or if you can't use a bank card) is in a self—service terminal. And although you still have to go outside to do this, it will be much easier and faster to find the nearest terminal than to get to the right organization.

By the way, you can also pay for communication services (TV, Internet) or traffic police fines through most terminals.

As for communications, the e.gov.tm service allows you to pay for telephone, television, Internet of all operators operating in Turkmenistan. In the "Communication Services" section, you can even call a courier of the Turkmenpost postal communication company.

Education

The portal of Public Services provides an opportunity to make a student payment, i.e., to pay for studies online using a bank card. There is also useful information for applicants (educational institutions of the country with a list of necessary documents), schoolchildren, and parents whose children go to the first grade.

Documents and legal assistance

One of the main services is an online registration with the migration service of Turkmenistan to submit documents for a passport. In addition, in the section named "Transport, logistics and Customs service", applications can be submitted to the Turkmenbashi International Seaport for the entry of vehicles into the port territory, for the provision of ship calls, for signing a contract, and for the provision of cargo work. And also you can pre-register customs operations online at the Directorate of Economic Management.

Among the institutions that have connected to the electronic system is the Ministry of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan. Now you can take part in auctions for the sale of state property online. And also get legal assistance by applying to the Ministry of Adalat, or get a license from the Agency of Transport and Communications under the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan.

As digital services develop in Turkmenistan, this list will expand. On the website, it is already indicated that there is a development of services in the "Family and children"category, among which — obtaining a birth certificate and marriage registration.
