A package of documents for signing is being prepared for the visit of the head of Turkmenistan to the UAE
15.09.2022 | 04:52 |The Turkmen delegation headed by Deputy Foreign Minister Berdyniyaz Myatiyev held a meeting with Minister of State Ahmed Ali Al Sayegh at the UAE Foreign Ministry during a working visit to the UAE, which lasts from September 12 to 16.
The issues of organizing the upcoming official visit of President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov to the UAE at the invitation of President Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan were discussed. A package of documents that are being prepared for signing following the results of the Turkmen-Arab negotiations at the highest level was also considered, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan reports.
The Turkmen delegation also held meetings with UAE Minister of Energy and Infrastructure Suhail Al Mazroui, Chief Executive Officer and Manager of the Abu Dhabi Port Saif Mohammed Juma Al Shamisi, Director General of the Abu Dhabi Development Fund Mohammed Saif Al Suwaidi, Chief Executive Officer of Masdar Mohamed Jamil Al Ramahi.
Among the topics raised were the preparation of the next meeting of the joint Cooperation Committee, which is scheduled for 2022 in Abu Dhabi.
The current working visit of the Turkmen delegation became a prologue to the upcoming visit of the Turkmen leader to the UAE and allowed to compare the agenda of the government negotiations that will take place within its framework, as well as to outline ways to further develop cooperation between the two countries.
