April is the most suitable time for going out on scenery. Not too hot, it is moderately rainy and opening flowers replace one another. But what one should do, if one would like to go out on scenery and to spend a day with comfort? Certainly, one should go to a zoo!

The trip to the wildlife museum by the bus № 45 from the Teke bazar takes about one and a half hours. By car – it is about an hour. On your way it is possible to enjoy kinds of vineyards, gardens and foothill landscapes. They will accompany you throughout all your mini travel and become an excellent background for family photos.

With yourself it is necessary to take fruits, vegetables and unsalted nuts - for feeding some kinds of animals. But keep in mind what gifts to treat animals to only with the permission of workers of the zoo and under their control. One will never refuse you a pleasure of handing out a carrot to a giraffe carrot or to please a horse with an apple, but only after check of the products brought by visitors.

Giraffes are very curious and sociable animals which with pleasure will stick their muzzles into your palm and accurately take from it sweets. Zebras also love attention, but with them you can contact only visually - striped animals as compared with the longest brothers, are shorter in height.

The African buffalo s and rhinoceroses are self-sufficient inhabitants of the zoo, preferring to steer clear of borders of open-air cages. Rheas and emus are curious enough, but also they study biped visitors in the distance.

But in the section with baboons you become the centre of attention. Loud and noisy, they very much love people and each time hope to get hold of something tasty.

In the unit of hoofed animals it is possible to meet the whole herds of familiar animals - mountain goats and rams, llamas and koulans. During the spring season either here or there to fences curious – thin-legged and ridiculous cubs jump out, they rejoice to everything they see.

This zone is also noted for some open-air cages with camels - huge two-humped and not less impressive single-humped ones. But here in April the habitual importance and sedateness of the ships of desert is not observed – charming colts nestle to massive animals, whose thin legs are longer than their bodies.

And don’t you want to see a stable? And let opposite to the zoo the horse-racing complex where all colour Akhalteke breeds are located, in the zoo there are also horses - quiet and sociable animals are glad to visitors and with pleasure hold up curious foreheads.

Not less interesting, than on TV programs of wild nature to observe big cats. Tigers, lions, leopards and steppe cats in the zoos differ less than from their domestic brethren - they like to have a sleep and roll about in the sun.

There are in the zoo the aquarium and terrarium, there is also a museum of inanimate nature in which it is possible to get acquainted with geographical and geological features of Turkmenistan.

But, the most important thing is possibility, being in picturesque foothills of the Kopet Dagh, to take pleasure in surprisingly harmonious combination of nature of native land and representatives of distant, exotic countries.
