Telephone conversation between the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan and the Chairperson of the Council of Russian Federation
On December 28, a telephone conversation took place between the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and the Chairperson of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Valentina Matviyenko, TDH reports.
One of the topics of the conversation was the discussion of the prospects for cooperation in 2025, declared by the UN General Assembly as the International Year of Peace and Trust. In this regard, the need to unite and consolidate the efforts of the world community to return the culture of dialogue, respect and tolerance to global politics is becoming more urgent.
It was emphasized that women are called upon to play a crucial role in this, with their high responsibility and perception of their humanistic mission to current and future generations.
In this regard, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov suggested that Valentina Matviyenko consider the possibility of holding the second Dialogue of Women of Central Asian States and Russia in May next year in the Avaza National Tourist Zone on the Turkmen coast of the Caspian Sea.
