Oriented on making people closer

In 2024, the world's population will reach a record 8.156 billion people.

According to data from the German Foundation for World Population (Deutsche Stiftung Weltbevölkerung, DSW), this is 82 million more than last year.

According to United Nations projections, the population will exceed 9 billion people by 2037, and by the 2080s, this figure is expected to reach 10.3 billion people.

Population growth is primarily observed in Africa. According to DSW experts, the number of people living on this continent could more than double in the next two decades.
