Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan will sign an "important political document with China at the summit in Xi'an on May 18-19. The presidents will review the development of relations between China and Central Asia, exchange views on the development of mechanisms between the two sides <...> and jointly sign an important political document," the official quotes the website of the Chinese diplomatic agency.

He also added that the upcoming meeting will help develop a new plan for relations between China and the Central Asian "five", and will also open a new era of partnership between the parties.
