Oriented on making people closer

A significant achievement for the employees of the "Lebapnebitgazgözleg" expedition of the State Corporation "Türkmengeologiýa" was the successful acquisition of a commercial oil inflow from exploratory well No. 1907, which they drilled in the western part of the Goturdepe field. According to the chief geologist of the expedition, Sunnet Hatamov, geological exploration work is actively expanding in the regions of Turkmenistan, including the Balkan velayat. As a result, the reserves of valuable raw materials are growing, increasing the country's resource wealth.

Explorers from Lebap drilled a well nearly 4,000 meters deep at the aforementioned field – the deepest in this area. Consequently, a rich stratum of oil and natural gas was discovered in the 13th horizon of the lower red layer. According to specialists' calculations, the production rate of this well is 93.4 tons of crude oil and 4,430 cubic meters of natural gas per day. The successful completion of the exploration work convincingly confirms the great potential of the field for the extraction of valuable natural resources.

As noted in information from Türkmenmetbugat, this significant labor success in the country's landmark year of the 30th anniversary of neutrality was achieved thanks to the coordinated work of the drilling rig foreman, Jumageldi Orazov, and his highly qualified and experienced team members. Among them, the drilling foreman Magtym Mahmudov, the leading geologist Mamurjan Charyev, the driller Tore Bazarov, as well as assistant drillers Gahryman Gurtgeldiyev, Artyk Ovezgulyev, and others can be primarily mentioned. The drillers, actively working on the implementation of the tasks set for the industry, express confidence that the number of such good news will significantly increase this year.
