 The Government of Turkmenistan and UNICEF sign 11 new work plans for 2025 with 12 partners

The Government of Turkmenistan and the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) have further strengthened their partnership by signing 11 new work plans for 2025 with 12 partners. These agreements outline a shared vision for advancing the rights and well-being of children and youth in Turkmenistan, in accordance with commitments under the National Action Plan for the Realization of Children's Rights in Turkmenistan for 2023–2028 and the UNICEF Country Programme for 2021–2025.

The signing ceremony took place at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

Work plans were signed between UNICEF and the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan, the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan, the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Turkmenistan, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Turkmenistan, the General Prosecutor's Office of Turkmenistan, the Supreme Court of Turkmenistan, the Ministry of Justice of Turkmenistan, the Mejlis of Turkmenistan, the State Committee of Turkmenistan on Statistics, the Institute of State, Law and Democracy of Turkmenistan, the State Committee of Turkmenistan on Television, Radio Broadcasting and Cinematography, and the Women's Union of Turkmenistan.

The work plans will guide joint efforts to improve child protection, education, healthcare, and social services for children. Furthermore, the work plans reflect cross-cutting priorities such as gender equality, environmental sustainability, inclusive policies, and evidence-based policy development.
