Oriented on making people closer

On February 13, a meeting between the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Belarus Nazarguly Shagulyev and students took place at the International State Ecological Institute named after A.D. Sakharov, Minsk. The key topic of the meeting was the International Year of Peace and Trust. The event included a presentation of the book by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov "Magtymguly - the Sage of the World" and the work of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov "Jewel of the Mind".

Before the start of the celebration, Ambassador Shagulyev met with the Director of the International State Ecological Institute named after A.D. Sakharov (ISEI), Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor Oleg Rodkin. They discussed issues of cooperation development, the quality of the educational process at the institute, increasing the number of students and other aspects of interaction.

The Turkmen Ambassador also visited the university library, where he got acquainted with the rich book collection and innovative projects of the institute - the basic organization of the Commonwealth of Independent States for environmental education.

Then a solemn event took place with the participation of the rectorate, faculty and students of the A.D. Sakharov ISEI.

Professor Oleg Rodkin opened the meeting with a welcoming speech. Then, Ambassador Shagulyev presented to the audience the Concept of Turkmenistan's activities and priorities within the framework of the International Year of Peace and Trust, revealing the principles of Turkmenistan's neutrality, the country's peaceful foreign policy aimed at sustainable development and strengthening cooperation. As the diplomat emphasized, this Concept reflects Turkmenistan's desire to create conditions for global dialogue, mutual understanding and stability, as well as to address pressing issues of our time.

During the presentation of the book by the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov "Magtymguly - the Sage of the World", Nazarguly Shagulyev stated that the work reveals the significance of the great poet in the history of the Turkmen people, his work as a contribution to the golden treasury of world literature. The Ambassador noted the important role of this book in educating a patriotic, scientifically educated, broad-minded young generation.

ISEI teachers and students also addressed the audience, sharing their impressions and opinions about the literary heritage of Magtymguly Fragi, as well as reading his poems.

In the process of presenting the new book of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov "Jewel of the Mind", Ambassador Shagulyev focused on the fact that this work reflects the glorious past of the Turkmens, their traditions, enduring cultural values and great personalities who left a bright mark in history. This work also contributes to the patriotic and moral education of the younger generation and inspires contemporaries, descendants of our glorious ancestors to new heights.

The solemn event at the ISEI was supplemented by demonstrations of thematic videos prepared by the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Republic of Belarus.
