Industry in figures: hydrocarbon production and growth of goods production in Turkmenistan

Natural gas production amounted to 77.6 billion cubic meters, and oil production reached 8.2 million tons. The production of petroleum bitumen (+10.2%), gasoline (+4.8%), fuel oil (+8.2%), and diesel fuel also showed positive dynamics.
In addition to flagship industries such as oil and gas, Turkmenistan is seeing an increase in the production of industrial goods, food products, and textiles (vegetable products +8.4%, cotton yarn +46.7%, cotton fabric +27.1%). This indicates the successful implementation of the country's economic diversification policy.
The results of 2024 confirm the effectiveness of state programs aimed at developing industry and agriculture. The steady growth in the production of various types of products contributes to strengthening the self-sufficiency and competitiveness of the country and improving the welfare of the population.
In 2024, 86 large production and social facilities were put into operation throughout the country.
The statistical information for the last year was presented at a meeting of the Turkmen government on Friday, as reported by the newspaper "Neutral Turkmenistan".
