475 units of special equipment and 1,115 workers are involved in snow removal. Dozens of flights are delayed at the city airport due to snowfall.

According to weather forecasters, on January 8, the air temperature in Almaty during the day will be 0-2 degrees with a further decrease after 12 noon to -5-7 degrees, at night -11-13 degrees.
