Oriented on making people closer

On December 23, 2024, a scientific and practical conference, "Artificial Intelligence in the Education System of Turkmenistan", took place.

As reported on the website of the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan, the event was organized within the framework of implementing the tasks defined by the "Cooperation Roadmap for 2024–2025", which was approved on November 9, 2023, between the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan and the UNESCO Institute for Information Technologies in Education.

Participants discussed issues related to the development of educational management information systems, enhancing the digital competencies of teachers, and implementing advanced technologies in teaching activities, taking into account the needs and specific characteristics of Turkmenistan.

During the conference, discussions focused on the implementation and improvement of the use of artificial intelligence in the educational system, the competencies required for teachers and students in the field of AI, and preparing young people for production using artificial intelligence. A draft strategy for the development of artificial intelligence in education was considered, and international educational platforms on artificial intelligence were presented.
