Double MBA Diplomas: MGIMO Initiates a Joint Project with a Bucharest Economic University

The discussion with Pro-Rector Marius Profiroios and Director of the International Cooperation Department Liviu Cotfas focused on expanding educational ties between the two universities.
Romanian colleagues provided the Turkmen delegation with detailed information about the rich history and modern achievements of their university. Particular attention was paid to the successful implementation of the MBA program, accredited by the international association AMBA. This testifies to the high quality of education provided by the Bucharest University of Economic Studies.
In turn, representatives of the International University for the Humanities and Development presented the successful experience of implementing their own MBA program and expressed interest in jointly developing a dual-degree program. The leadership of the Romanian university enthusiastically supported this initiative, noting its high potential for developing educational and scientific ties and expressing a desire to launch a joint program from the new academic year.
The parties also discussed prospects for cooperation within the Erasmus+ program. An agreement was reached on more active participation of the International University for the Humanities and Development in student and faculty mobility programs. This opens up new opportunities for exchanging experiences, conducting joint research, and developing innovative educational programs.
A partnership with the Bucharest University of Economic Studies, one of the largest universities in Southeast Europe, will allow the International University for the Humanities and Development to strengthen its position on the international educational arena and provide students with access to the best global practices.
The decision to cooperate with the Bucharest University of Economic Studies was the result of targeted work to expand the international ties of the International University of Humanities and Development. Pro-Rector Nurmuhammet Shyhlyyev, who visited a number of leading Romanian universities, including the Polytechnic University of Bucharest and the Oil and Gas University of Ploiesti, noted the high potential for cooperation with Romanian partners. The joint MBA program developed by the two universities will allow students to acquire knowledge and skills in demand on the international market, as well as open up new prospects for career growth.
