Turkmenistan and Georgia expand dialogue in the field of education
21.11.2024 | 15:35 |On 20 November, the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan hosted an online training with the participation of representatives and specialists of the Sokhumi State University of Georgia, as well as teachers and students of the National School of Turkmen Diplomacy. The event was devoted to the issues of bilateral cooperation in the field of education.
Participants in the discussions included Professor of the Department of International Relations and Diplomacy at the IIR of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, Doctor of Sociological Sciences Ovezdurdy Muhammetberdiyev, Professor and Researcher at the Peace Education Research Center of Sokhumi State University, Honored Journalist of Georgia Badri Nachkebia, as well as the Director of the International Relations Department at the University, Indira Dzaganiya.
The participants discussed current issues of educational interaction, emphasizing the importance of sharing experience and expanding cooperation in research and training of future specialists in the field of international relations. The speakers noted that such online meetings open additional opportunities for dialogue and learning, which is especially relevant in the current conditions.
Special attention was given to issues related to expanding educational programs, improving learning processes, and enhancing practical training for students. The active participation of students and their questions once again highlighted the importance of such training sessions in the development of new knowledge and skills.
The event became another step-in strengthening Turkmen-Georgian relations in the educational sphere. It marked new prospects for cooperation between universities of the two countries, aimed at the development of science, culture, and professional exchange.
