 SpaceX's Starlink satellite Internet is launched for the first time on a Boeing 777 aircraft

Qatar Airways, the national airline of Qatar, and the American company SpaceX launched the Starlink satellite Internet for airplane passengers.

The first flight with Wi-Fi on board from SpaceX was a Boeing 777. He flew from Doha, the capital of Qatar, to London.

According to SpaceX representatives, the Boeing 777 is the largest and longest—range passenger aircraft equipped with Starlink to date.

In 2025, the airline plans to connect its entire Boeing 777 fleet to the Starlink service. The service will be free for passengers.

SpaceX has also entered into agreements with United Airlines, Hawaiian Airlines and airBaltic and other airlines to service Starlink.
