Oriented on making people closer

Head of the Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov held talks with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Marko Djuric. The meeting took place on September 26 in New York on the sidelines of the 79th session of the UN General Assembly.

The ministers discussed the possibilities of expanding bilateral ties, building up trade and economic relations and discussed the schedule of contacts, according to a press release from the Turkmen Foreign Ministry.

The meeting was marked by the signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation between the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia.
