Kazakhstan is preparing for the next “Future Games”
11.03.2024 | 16:13 |Preparations for the next Future Games, scheduled for 2025, have begun in Kazakhstan.
In holding the competitions, the republic will rely on the experience of Tatarstan, where the debut of the Games took place. This was stated by Chairman of the Mazhilis (lower house) of the Parliament of Kazakhstan, Erlan Koshanov, during a meeting with head of the State Council of Tatarstan Farid Mukhametshin.
1`Rais of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov provided all the necessary information about the event to the authorities of Kazakhstan. This experience will be useful to the republic when organizing the Games.
The first ever “Future Games” were held in Kazan from February 21 to March 3, 2024.
The Games of the Future is an international multi-sport event that combines sports, science and technology. The show is a new format that combines competitions in the physical and digital dimensions - “phygital” (physical + digital), testing the skills of athletes in the real and virtual worlds. Competitions present players with physical challenges or puzzles solved using mobile apps or other digital technology, such as the use of augmented reality (AR).
