Oriented on making people closer

The scientific and technical center "Oguz Han" will be established at the Oguz Han University of Engineering and Technology together with the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan. The decree was signed by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov at a government meeting on Friday.

As noted at the meeting, the main purpose of this center, which will work on self–financing, is the creation and implementation of products in the field of innovative nano-, bio- and information technologies, cybersecurity, digital technologies, artificial intelligence, information and communication sphere, computer and mobile applications, electronic equipment.

The new scientific and technological center is designed to give impetus to the development of priority areas of science, production and industry, to actively attract young people to innovative and technological creativity, it was reported in the news release of the Turkmen State Television. In addition, the center will carry out research and attract the best practices of global technology parks and scientific and educational centers.

The document was signed by the president after a corresponding report by Deputy Prime Minister Nurmuhammet Amannepesov, who was instructed by the head of state to actively involve young personnel in the work at the new center.
